Our Story

RuStar was the idea of old school friends reuniting after many years through the emergence and success story of their local Football Team Dorking Wanderers that they both support and are involved with in one way or another.

Founders Ruben Bernal & Ruben Burton got chatting at Dorking Wanderers Matches & DW Academy events about each others sneakers and their respective collections.

After a few more encounters and a trip to the renowned Sneakerness Event at Printworks, London, Meeting King of Sneakers : the famous CrepeSelect, 90zback teams and many more sneaker freaks all they could talk about was sneakers, Yeezys & Jordans’s.

The last few months have been tiresome with the guys planning and looking for the right look and direction they want to go. Looking to secure a shop in the Surrey Hills as a base while being based online initially and through social media channels.
